TerraFIRMA and UKESM at EGU26

TerraFIRMA and UKESM researchers will take part in the General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU26) from Sunday 3 May until Friday 8 May 2026 in Vienna, Austria. The EGU will bring together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. It provides a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience.
This year, TerraFIRMA and UKESM researchers will present work spanning atmospheric science, geosciences, Earth system modelling and observation, oceanography, ecology, and hydrology. Topics include ice sheets and ice shelves, CO₂ and methane emissions, TIPMIP simulations, aerosols, carbon sinks, wetlands, extreme wildfires, and early warning systems.
Explore the details of our talks and posters for EGU26 below, and follow us at @terrafirmaclimate.bsky.social and @ukesm.bsky.social for updates.
